Casual Head Chef Needed for VIP event in Derby from 28th to 31st May

Do you want a pizza the action? Do you have some thyme on your hands? Here at Off to Work we’re looking for a proactive, organised and hardworking Head Chef to lead a brigade of five or more chefs, plan and delegate tasks to ensure smooth delivery of the event. We’re talking set up, mise en place and preparing dishes from scratch, work in both production kitchen and a street food stall settings.

We’re looking for experienced head chef, with bags of creativity and we can offer further casual chef opportunities in the Midlands.

Who are we looking for?

  • At least 2 years’ experience as a head chef

  • Availability all days from 28th to 31st May, 7:30am-6:30pm

  • Ability to maintain high food safety and hygiene standards

  • Knowledge of world cuisines and street food experience

  • Proven record of producing the highest quality dishes

  • A team player who is comfortable managing a busy kitchen
