We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Head Chef to work with a well-known, award-winning establishment on the Essex / Suffolk Border. This Luxury Boutique Hotel and Restaurant has an excellent reputation for their fine food and service. The restaurant has been awarded numerous accolades and use the best of British produce to create modern classics with a twist.
The ideal Head Chef will have a real passion for high level cuisine, competent with modern cooking techniques and fantastic food presentation, whilst being able to work well with the current brigade. They will be innovative with concepts and ideas, always looking to better the current standard whilst remembering their target audience. They should also be looking to grow and develop alongside this blossoming business.
As the successful Head Chef, you will be responsible for all menu planning, stock taking and training. You must be passionate about your role and be willing to give 110%. The ideal Head Chef will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working at Head Chef Rosette level in a fresh food establishment; you will be responsible for high levels of hygiene control and health and safety throughout the department; you will be responsible for staff development and ensuring high levels of catering service and you will be reporting directly into the line manager. Head Chef must be highly passionate, excellent food cost controls and the ability to continually raise standards.

Due to location a car driver is essential. The venue can be easily accessed from Essex or Suffolk.
