Kitchen Manager / Head Chef, £13.40 per hour – 44 hours per week, Full Time, permanent Position – Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire

Kitchen Manager / Head Chef required for this local, vibrant and popular local bar & brewery location. As the main Chef your role will be to manage and run the kitchen on a daily basis.

The Role

Head Chef / Kitchen Manager - Working in connection with our area manager chef you’ll be responsible for maintaining the high standards expected and to be a integral part of the senior team

Menus are all generated from head office but change on a seasonal basis, this role would suit a candidate who is looking to work for a great company with opportunities for growth and personal development. You will be expected to lead, direct, train and supervise your team members and maintain all tasks in the kitchen.

  • Preparing, cooking, presenting and serving menu items to the best of your ability, in a manner agreed by the management team
  • Ensuring all routine cleaning schedules are maintained and reviewed on a regular basis,
  • Follow house Health & Safety and Food Hygiene policies
  • Day-to-day stock management with a keen eye on GP maintenance.
  • Placing food orders in a timely and organised manner
  • Managing and training a small kitchen team.

Required Experience

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within the hospitality sector, hard-working and will have good communication skills. Experience in a similar Chef position is essential. A proven track record, with fresh ideas will express drive, success and passion for the position.
