Exciting Opportunity for a Head of Art in Newham!

Are you a passionate and experienced art educator looking for a leadership role? Join our Vibrant secondary school in Newham as the Head of Art and inspire students with your creativity and vision.

Head of Art Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Art department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Develop and implement an engaging and dynamic art curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that nurtures students' artistic talents.
  • Organize and oversee art exhibitions and school-wide art events.
  • Support and mentor other teachers in the department, promoting professional development.

Head of Art Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of art education and curriculum development.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
