We are recruiting on behalf of a national Law firm in London, who seek an experienced BD professional from a Law firm or professional services background, to join them on a full time basis as the Head of BD and Client Development on a 12 month maternity cover FTC.

As a firm, their clients range from some of the world's largest multi-national corporations to private individuals.

The Head of BD/CD is responsible for the day to day ops and leadership of the BD team, including;

  • Manage and support development of the team
  • Providing competitor and market analysis to inform the direction and strategy of future BD initiatives across the Firm
  • Lead the development and delivery of B&CD plans for cross-departmental sector specific
    initiatives
  • Oversee the coordination of key legal directory submissions
  • Have oversight to ensure the Firm is maximising memberships, partnerships, and
    sponsorships
  • Oversee the tender process and ensure the team follows 'best practice'
  • Oversee the post tender win process
  • Working closely with the Head of Marketing ensuring campaigns and events are being made the most of
  • Develop a key client programme focusing on growth or maintenance of departmental top level
    targets
  • Control the follow up process across the Firm ensuring everyone understands their
    responsibilities post activity
  • Make use of data and insights to identify opportunities and make plans for growth

Hybrid: Only 2 days in office
Essential experience: BD experience at managerial and above level, must have led a team
Salary: £100k plus bonus and company benefits
