An opportunity of a lifetime for a head of business or dealer principal to work with the best car dealership group in the Southeast of England.

You will be supported by a business that has a great reputation for staff development and retention. They have over 90 years’ experience at the top level and are looking to build up to a 1-billion-pound turnover business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a customer service-driven environment through communication, team building, and coaching.
  • Understand and apply manufacturer mystery shopping criteria.
  • Communicate and uphold customer service standards to meet brand requirements and balanced scorecard targets.
  • Provide clear leadership by communicating the business vision and objectives.
  • Recruit and set objectives for department managers; regularly review their performance.
  • Develop and monitor business plans with senior managers and manufacturers to meet objectives, profit margins, and market penetration. Regularly review key performance indicators with stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with UK legislation, manufacturer standards, policies, procedures, and financial controls to maximize performance.
  • Plan and agree on marketing activities and budgets to maintain brand awareness.
  • Ensure staff are aware of and comply with Health and Safety regulations, regularly reviewing these with departmental managers.
Essential:
  • Previous experience as a Head of business or dealer principle
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Smart appearance.
  • Competent level of education.
  • Good understanding of sales and aftersales operations.
