Our client, a leading company in telecoms sector, is seeking an experienced Head of Indirect Channel to lead and develop their Business Development Manager (BDM) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth, managing relationships with partners, and contributing to the overall success of the business. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a proven track record in channel management.

Main Duties / Key Tasks:

  • Manage and Develop BDM Team: Lead a team of 6 BDMs, overseeing day-to-day activities and ensuring high performance.
  • Deliver Agreed Targets: Achieve and exceed set targets and objectives.
  • Maintain and Grow Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with existing partners and recruit new prospects as per agreed plans.
  • Support COO: Assist the Chief Operating Officer in delivering the Indirect P&L.
  • Management Team Participation: Play an integral role in the business's management team, contributing to strategic decision-making.

Additional Tasks and Duties:

  • Channel Partner Segmentation: Implement and manage segmentation of channel partners to optimize performance.
  • Support and Reward Model: Introduce a differentiated support and reward model for channel partners.
  • Team Coaching and Development: Provide coaching and development opportunities for the BDM team to enhance their skills and performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in channel management and business development.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive growth and achieve targets.
  • Experience in developing and implementing support and reward models.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a management team.
