We are looking for a responsible Head of Clinical Procurement to provide strong management, leadership and line management of the Clinical Procurement Category Team and to develop a wide range of category management and contract management activities across the portfolio. Crucial to this role is the relationship management across the supply market, internal senior stakeholders and external partners who will be key to driving success in this category. To do this we require someone who can effectively manage the internal operations and resources to enable the successful delivery of the efficiency targets and work-plans and someone who can build professional relationships and be the driver of change to enable Procurement to continuously improve the service.
Who are you?
- A commercially minded, value driven stakeholder engager with strong negotiation skills.
- A resilient and people focussed team manager and leader able to resolve procurement escalations.
- A PCR 2015 expert able to give stakeholders and team embers guidance and best practice advice.
- Someone who is acutely aware of the challenges faced by clinical stakeholders and can work with them to find suitable and value driven procurement solutions.
- A change management and projects experienced procurement leader able to drive strategy and deliver resolutions and savings.
- MCIPS Qualified
- Public Sector Procurement experienced.
