As the Head of Clinical Quality Assurance & Improvement, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission by ensuring the highest standards of clinical governance and quality improvement across our global operations. This role is vital in maintaining robust clinical governance structures and processes, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements, and driving continuous quality improvement in all services.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the continual development of the clinical assurance and improvement strategy
Provide support, expert advice, and oversee the delivery of the clinical assurance programme
Develop effective communication channels with clinical governance teams
Deliver accurate and consistent governance dashboards and reports
Provide assurance to the UK Clinical Governance Committee and the Executive Team
Review, analyse, and identify trends in clinically related incidents and complaints
Monitor and review clinical governance structures, programmes of clinical audit, and assurance to ensure effectiveness and regulatory compliance
Collaborate with the Head of Clinical Risk and Incident Management
Deputise for the Director of Clinical Governance on all clinical matters when required
What We're Looking For
Excellent knowledge & experience of governance and risk management within the Health and Care services sector
Professional clinical qualification (RN) with extensive post-qualification experience in healthcare governance, assurance, or compliance-related roles.
Understanding of clinical risk management and its integration with clinical governance structures.
Strong critical and analytical skills
Experience working in large, regulated businesses.
Knowledge and experience of risk, control, and regulation across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd lines of defence.
Ability to think and perform at a strategic level
Demonstrable stakeholder management skills
