Head of Conveyancing

TSR Legal are pleased to be working with a highly regarded conveyancing law firm who are looking to establish new offices in Manchester and are currently seeking a Residential Conveyancer - Head of Department, with 5 years + PQE, (CLC, SRA, or CILEx).

This expanding law firm offers a superb opportunity for a seasoned conveyancer to lead the department to further success, with the potential for equity partnership once the office is established.

Successful applicants will be responsible for:

• Leading a growing team of fee earners and support staff, this role allows significant input into the department's future direction.

• Managing a diverse caseload encompassing conveyancing matters such as sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and equity transfers.

• Ensure a consistent approach in process across all teams in line with agreed company structure and strategy

• Prepare regular reports on team performance, operational metrics, and key business insights for senior management.

To succed in this position, you need a proven track record of leadership and management in a conveyancing or legal environment, along with a strong understanding of conveyancing processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are essential, as is being a strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. The ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve their full potential and deliver exceptional service to clients is also crucial.
