Head of Data Strategy

Eames is currently partnered with a global reinsurer that is looking for a Head of Data Strategy to own their data roadmap and drive improvements to unlock the power of data.

They are London-based, offering flexible hybrid working arrangements and an opportunity to work with the latest technologies.

In this role, you will:

• Innovate across all core verticals of the business including Claims, Underwriting, Finance, and Risk
• Lead and mentor data SMEs
• Horizon scan to stay up to date on the latest technologies and best practices.
• Track and drive the performance of the data function

The successful candidate will likely have:

• Previous experience working in the insurance industry.
• A track record in data leadership with knowledge of core insurance functions (Underwriting, Claims, Pricing, Risk, etc)
• Expert knowledge of data strategy frameworks and data management
• An understanding of machine learning, data science, and BI tools and languages such as Databricks, DataIQ, Power BI, Python, and SQL
