Head of Data - hybrid
£75,000 plus up to 20% bonus and excellent benefits

This award-winning and growing software company are looking for a Head of Data with ideally at least five years commercial experience to join their Senior team. This Senior Data role will define and lead the data strategy and build a data team to meet future business ambitions.

The Head of Data will work closely with the directors and other Senior Leadership Team. The roles will involve redefining the data strategy as well as data management, quality and governance. You will drive a culture of efficiency accessing data and develop strong partnerships with engineering and product teams.

Experience:
  • Experience leading a data function.
  • Strong experience in data engineering or analysis.
  • Strong experience with ETL processes and common data languages (Python, Scala) and data warehouses.
  • Strong knowledge of database technology (Postgres, MySQL, Clickhouse) as well as Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure etc).
  • Experience working with data visualisation tools and documenting complex data solutions.

  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and must communicate clearly to cross-functional teams, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate the focus on delivering high quality results in a fast-paced environment.
