We are looking for a passionate and experienced Teacher of economics to take on the role of Head of Economics role for a 'Good’-rated school in Enfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to lead a department while teaching Economics up to Key Stage 5.

About the Role and School

As Head of Economics, you will lead the department, teach Economics at KS4 and KS5, and play a key role in shaping the curriculum to prepare students for future careers in economics, business and finance. The school is committed to providing a nurturing environment where every student can excel, and you’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive leadership team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
  • Strong leadership skills and a passion for Economics, with the ability to lead a team and deliver engaging lessons to students at all levels.
  • Experience in developing and implementing an Economics curriculum that combines both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
  • A proven track record of inspiring and motivating students.
