Job Title: Head of Employment Policy and Practice
Salary: Between £53,000 - £60,500K
Hours: 37.5 hours, Mon-Fri
Location: Witham,Essex
Casanovas Recruitment Solutions is delighted to be working with a reputable company based in Essex. We are recruiting for a Head of Employment Policy and Practice position who must be highly knowledgeable in all ER areas and a competent senior HR professional. Travelling around the country may also be required.

Responsibilities:
- To ensure all HR Policies and procedures are kept up to date, to amend or improve where necessary
- Aid the Assistant HR Director to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy
- To deliver high quality and responsive advice, employment law and sector updates
- Attending meetings and to confidently action any HR procedures or employee relations
- Oversee and monitor Industry Relations and Employee Relations
- Manage the renewal of the company benefit supplier
- Execute all mandatory Health & Safeguarding and Data Protection training and keep updated on refresher courses
- Carry out regular checks to ensure our job analysis and overall pay structures are correct
- Liaise with Trade Unions and / or Staff Groups
- Reviewing and overseeing employment contracts and policies
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong leadership and diplomacy abilities
- MCIPD or similar professional qualification
- Superior knowledge and understanding of employment law and all HR relations
- Strong interpersonal skills including negotiation, influencing and relationship building
- Strong background in handling complex employee relations issues and maintaining a positive workplace culture
