Morgan Hunt currently requires a Head of Estates for NHS based in East London

Pay Rate: £42.68ph PAYE + £5.15 WTR Total: £47.83ph or £54.43ph Ltd

Hours: 37.5 hrs Mon to Fri

Location: East London

Duration 6 months on going contract.

Job purpose

The candidates role is to manage all aspects of operational estates assets and is professionally responsible for the complete management and performance monitoring(Hard FM Services) across the Hospital site, with due regard for all statutory and regulatory compliance including Fire Safety management, Non - Clinical Health & Safety management, Asbestos management, Water Hygiene management including Legionella and Pseudomonas control management, Building, Electrical & Mechanical services including Medical and Non-Medical Gas services and safety, Financial management.

To include full financial control of the Estates minor works and Estates SLA agreements, Property inspections and the Management of estates staff, external consultants and contractors.

To ensure the delivery management of utilities supplies to the Hospital are in compliance with the Carbon Reduction Commitment requirements and the Trust's Carbon Reduction Plan.

To manage and monitor all in house and contracted out services; particularly managing the performance of the Hard FM Services ensuring compliance with statutory standards and recognised safe practices.

Maintain effective working relationships across hospital clinical divisions and group corporate divisions within the Trust and external organisations.

To adhere to standing financial instructions and ensure value for money on all tenders and purchases.
