An exceptionally high profile opportunity has come to the market as a Head of Excise & Customs for a large multinational UK Headquartered Group. This is a high profile role both internally and externally and will require a strong technical expert as well as a commercial approach. You will report to the Group Tax Director and lead a high performing team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, identify and develop efficient and accurate Excise & Customs compliant processes
- Build and develop relationships with Government bodies in order to develop channels for resolving and identifying solutions to Excise and Customs duty related issues
- Ensure the Business receives timely and relevant advice on Excise and Customs matters relevant to business developments
- Co-ordinate cross-functional and international business units to mitigate the Group's Excise & Customs duty bill
This is a unique opportunity that would suit someone doing a similar role in-house or someone in practice operating at Senior Manager or Director level looking for an in-house move.
