Head of Finance
Run a robust, strong, financial reporting and analysis system. Develop an environment that promotes teamwork and identifies standardisation as a key strength to building an efficient financial infrastructure.
Business Reporting & Management Accounting- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual finance reports
- Organise, prepare and report annual budgets for the Group
- Analyse expenditure versus budget and make proposals for improved financial performance
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accounting records maintained to legislation
- Responsible for insurance, financial contracts and VAT
- Making sure reporting meets compliant standards with law and financial regulations Governance, Risk and Control
- Evaluates all internal structures and governance to protect interests of stakeholders
Develop budgets that meet the requirements of company departments. Responsibility to oversee local funding and cash management
- Perform regular financial analysis and production of KPI metrics to challenge business performance and prepare detailed reports on the company's financial performance
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to drive stewardship of financial compliance with all government and regulatory bodies, including filing annual accounts, legal directorship changes and corporate tax liabilities. Responsibility to ensure risk management is considered and implemented across all areas.
- Supervise all audit, third party communication and internal control processes across the Group
- Recognise patterns in company spending, revenue, and recommend solutions to any problem areas
- Develop process and rigorous financial control procedures aligning with Group policies
- Undertake ad-hoc business projects as and when required Head of Finance
- Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s strategy and proactively challenge the management team when performance is not aligned
- ACCA Qualified
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or equivalent technical degree.
- Minimum 10 years’ prior experience in manufacturing environment.
