Head of Finance (part-time 21hrs pw)

Camphill Milton Keynes is excited to offer a unique and exciting opportunity for a experienced qualified / qbe accountant to join our growing senior leadership team.

We are a £5m Milton Keynes charity that supports adults with learning disabilities, an organisation that is person centred and values working together as a community.

Set in a beautiful community location near Willen Lake, Camphill Milton Keynes is an established charity providing of Supported Living and Day Opportunities for adults with learning disabilities. We promote meaningful activity and occupation for the people we support and are currently developing a range of new services and settings as part of our continued growth and expansion.

A part-time role supported by a small team you will lead the charity’s finance function, assisting the CEO and Board of Trustees to deliver its charitable objectives.

Based in Milton Keynes for over forty years we are expanding our service, and your financial skills and experience will be a core asset to the charity.

Our ideal candidate will be locally based and wants to make that difference in ways that only working within our sector can deliver.

You will:

  • Contribute to the charity’s planning and strategy.
  • Be a team member contributing to its implementation.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and best practice.
  • Challenge and support colleagues and trustees professionally.
  • Provide, present and articulate the numbers to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor a small team.
  • Be people focussed.

Salary will be pro rata in the region £55-60k FTE together with other benefits
