head of Finance - West Sussex £80-£120K OTE

I am recruiting for a commercial Head of Finance to lead the strategic direction of a UK subsidiary leisure company, based in West Sussex. They specialise in the design, construction and maintenance of luxury wellness products within the wet leisure industry throughout the UK. Servicing both domestic and commercial sectors they operate through 2 service lines operating under the umbrella of the world's leading wellness supplier.

Reporting to the MD and liaising with Group, they are looking for an experienced, construction Head of Finance to oversee all financial aspects of business and drive the company’s financial strategy and planning. Managing a finance team of 5 staff, you will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company as well as risk assessment strategy and investment prognosis.

The Head of Finance will be qualified (ACA, ACCA/CIMA) with a broad knowledge of all commercial accounting, financial and business principles, and essentially well versed in The Construction Industry Scheme Finance Act. You will be a strategic thinker, effective leader and decision-maker. The goal is to guide the company towards profitability and long-term success.

This is a full-time office, based role in their Petworth offices although some flexibility can be accommodated for occasional home working. Occasional travel to other UK offices may be necessary on an ad hoc basis.
