BettingJobs is working with a leading iGaming group seeking to expand their leadership team with a proactive and fully qualified Head of Finance.

Based remote from the UK this role will be futureproofing current financial operations and building a new sub team to specialize on one brand development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnering with the Group Head of Finance in managing budgeting and forecasting process across all areas and departments (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow)
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounting and financial reporting
  • Preparation of the monthly management report, continually developing reporting needs to meet world class standards
  • Uncovering trends in key data points within revenue and cost, utilising a strategic mindset to help drive profitability and direction/strategy
  • Involved in financial systems development to support the business and growth
  • Involvement in reviewing and developing all internal processes and controls to ensure efficiency
  • Have a strong sense of where is most efficient to automate processes and how
  • Involved with ad-hoc projects assigned by the Group Head of Finance and to meet the growing demands of the business

Personal Requirements:

  • 10+ years of financial accounting experince inhouse
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
  • Deep understanding of iGaming specific financial reporting; you know what casino metrics to look for
  • Solid experience in financial modelling and reporting, owning end to end month end close cycles and the end to end operations around this
  • Ability to analyse complex financial data and provide actionable insights
  • You are able to grow, lead and effectively manage a team, developing a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in financial software and tools (e.g. Xero and Anaplan)
