Head of Finance - Exciting Tech Business | Broxbourne | £50,000 - £65,000 | On-Site Role
An established yet fast-growing tech business based in Broxbourne is seeking a dynamic and ambitious Finance Manager ready to take the next step into a Head of Finance position. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for someone looking to make a genuine impact and grow into a future Finance Director or CFO role.
With revenues set to grow by 30% in the next 12 months through a blend of organic expansion and strategic M&A activity, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in steering the financial direction of the company during this pivotal growth phase.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a small finance team (2.5 FTE)
- Oversee all core financial operations, including debtors, creditors, and cashflow management
- Deliver insightful financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Partner closely with the leadership team to shape commercial and operational strategy
- Manage financial processes across two entities and three subsidiaries, including UK and Dubai operations
- Work alongside an external CFO who provides one day per month of strategic oversight
The Ideal Candidate:
- Currently operating as a Finance Manager with the ambition to step into a Head of Finance role
- Comfortable in a hands-on, fully site-based environment
- Confident working in a fast-paced SME or scale-up environment
- Strong working knowledge of Xero and GoCardless is a plus
- Commercially astute with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
