Altum Consulting have partnered with a global media company based in Central London to help source a Head of Group FP&A.

The Head of Group FP&A will be at the forefront of founding a new corporate Group FP&A team. Building and recruiting a world class FP&A function, providing the platform to influence the agenda on high profile initiatives, working closely with the CFO and senior decision makers across the business.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • This role will lead all monthly reporting and FP&A by reviewing the board packs, interrogate the numbers and providing insightful and meaningful information to the board.
  • The Head of FP&A will have autonomy and be expected to drive and motivate their team.
  • They will be experienced in working with senior stakeholders and work with business leaders on investment opportunities and the profitability of divisions.
  • The candidate will be expected to excel in budgeting and forecasting.
  • The Head of FP&A will be expected to take a leading role in developing a finance culture of business partnering.

The Candidate Requirements?

  • 6-10 years PQE experience most recently working in a Group FP&A position.
  • Skilled in drilling into data to tell the story, drawing on insights and trends to inform company performance.
  • You will have a strong sense of intellectual curiosity, an analytical mind and possess the capability to bring stories to life through clear and structured reporting.
  • A change mentality and the ability to continuously challenge the status quo are essential to this role.
  • Ability to produce clear and insightful presentations that deliver key messaging at the appropriate level of detail incorporating input from multiple stakeholders.
