Head of Housekeeping - Qatar

*This position is a relocation role to Qatar*

Silver Swan are seeking an experienced female Head of Housekeeping to join our UHNW client's property in Qatar, on a permanent basis.

This is a fully-staffed formal household, and the current Housekeeping department counts 5 members of staff, plus a Laundress. However, here are plans to expand the team to up to 50 members within the next year. Therefore the ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, and experience in training and managing large teams to the highest standards.

The ideal Head of Housekeeping will be hands-on, consistently training and helping their staff on the ground when necessary. This is not an admin role.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Head of Housekeeping who is looking for a long term position, and who looks forward to grow in the role.

Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the Housekeeping and Laundry team (currently 6 people, however with a planned increase to up to 50 in the future).
- Train all staff to agreed high standards
- Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness are maintained throughout the property
- Promote a harmonious working environment
- Be a hands-on team-player, and help your staff when needed

Ideal Candidate:
- Extensive experience in a similar Housekeeping Manager/Head of Housekeeping role, within either private households or high-end luxury hospitality (essential)
- Previous experience having managed a large team (highly desirable)
- Looking for a long-term role
- Willingness to relocate to Qatar
- Willingness to be hands-on
- Available to start asap

Package:
- Salary of USD 3,200-4,000/Month NET, DOE (to be reviewed once the team starts growing)
