Handle are partnering with a fitness start up that are looking for their first Senior HR Hire to help build the people function.

Founded in 2020, they are 65 people and growing, with the goal of dominating the fitness and active wear industry! The team are ambitious and passionate, and have grown a fantastic people-centric and inclusive culture. They now need someone to join that can hit the ground running, and get their basic HR function into shape whilst keeping the fitness orientated culture they have built at the heart of the operation.

They currently have a HR admin that has been helping with the day to day operations, but it is still a very hands on role across the full employee lifecycle. They also want someone who can start on some project work around DEI, wellbeing and some more enhanced policies as this is something they champion as a brand and want to see this embedded throughout their people strategy. There is a lot of room to have a real impact as the business grows!

The ideal candidate will be someone who has worked in start ups or scrappy retail environments before that enjoys working at pace. You'll need a commercial eye with the ability to put strategy into action and bring others on a journey with you to deliver excellence. You will also need a passion for fitness or sports or have worked in the industry to truly get under the skin of the business and connect with the team!

They have a flex working pattern, but ideally need someone who can commit to at least 3 days in the office, based in Central London. They also offer some great benefits.

If you are interested to hear more, please apply now!

Handle actively welcomes applicants from under-represented backgrounds - we pride ourselves on attracting the best talent for every opportunity through a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
