Head of Legal

Major UK FMCG Brand

As Head of Legal & Company Secretary you will report to the FD as a member of the SLT and take full responsibility for the legal function, driving strategy as a key business enabler and be the functional expert on all legal & compliance matters

- Broad remit - incorporating all commercial agreements, IP/Marketing, competition, M&A/JV's, Disputes, Compliance,

- Leading and nurturing a team of 3-4, leading by example

- Own full legal spend and manage external support

- Act as Company Secretary / DPO ensuring company protection and and compliance

You will need

- Significant PQE (8+) and specific in-house experience

- People management experience, or previous coaching exposure and ready to step up

- A true business partnering, commercial outlook and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders

- Experience gained in FMCG/Consumer Goods/Manufacturing or similar

- A collaborative, pro-active approach to problem solving

The business offers hybrid working (2-3 days in the HQ)

East Midlands / South Midlands HQ - commutable from Coventry, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Peterborough.
