Head of Operational Finance – North Lincolnshire – Up to £60,000 + Benefits

An exciting opportunity to lead the operational finance function for a market leading, fast growing business in North Lincolnshire. As Head of Operational Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing the management accounts and operational reporting for multiple manufacturing sites, including leading a small team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join a large company with great ambitions.

Head of Operational Finance Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the operations finance team
  • Support purchasing team on stock holdings and purchasing forecast
  • Responsible for overseeing the production of weekly manufacturing/ transport pack for multiple sites, including review prior to submission
  • Prepare weekly financial commentary on volumes, manufacturing and material variance, fixed costs and site margin
  • Responsible for weekly MUV/PPV/MPV analysis
  • Responsible for direct & indirect labour analysis
  • Responsible for site / transport fixed asset register
  • Prepare forecasts and annual budgeting
  • Work closely with System & Data lead ensuring all master data is correct
  • Responsible for ensuring all systems are aligned
  • Support on identification of process improvements
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Qualified CIMA/ACCA
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong people management skills including mentoring and development
  • Ability to work towards deadlines in a changing environment
  • IT literate including excel and ERP systems
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders
  • A lasting commitment to 'doing the job right’ and challenging the status quo
