The Role
The Head of Operations is a brand-new role for the Charity and will be instrumental in shaping the future of the organisation. Reporting directly into the board of trustees, you will have the full autonomy to lead this prestigious Charity and have a huge impact on the local community.
Key Objectives
- Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage FPYT almshouses in line with the mission, values, and business plans.
- Provide leadership and management to staff and volunteers, fostering a culture of openness, transparency, and compassion.
- Financial Oversight:
- Support the financial health of FPYT through commercial discipline and policy adherence.
- Manage the annual budget and spending, including grant allocation and donations.
- Governance and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to almshouse legislation and governance standards.
- Oversee the development and implementation of policies and risk management strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Manage all stakeholder relationships and develop new partnerships with local trade and community organizations.
- Act as the main point of contact for licensees, trustees, and external partners.
Essential Requirements
- Proven commitment to high-quality customer service and improving local community life.
- Knowledge and experience of legislative frameworks in the charitable or housing sector.
- Strong governance, planning, and management skills.
- Experience managing and motivating teams, including external partners.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
