Location: Chipping Norton

A well-respected Chartered Financial Planning firm with a very good reputation are looking for an experienced Financial Planner to come and join their growing advisory team and work with nourishing and developing existing clients within the firm.

They take pride in their work and place an emphasis on client care and providing a tailored solution. They have a broad offering for clients, providing advice across a range of cases including Pensions, Investments, Protection and tax planning. They have long standing relationships with a great deal of their clients and have an excellent client-retention rate to go with this.

They have grown consistently over the last few years and are a forward-thinking firm that embrace technology and pride themselves on the technical knowledge that their team provides, along with the high-levels of customer service.

The Role

This position would encompass elements of paraplanning and management at the same time as you would be working with the paraplanning team to help provide the technical support to the firms clients. Along side this is the opportunity to develop professionally as you would end up supporting the wider business by being involved in operations meetings and working with the directors at the firm.

This role would suit someone who is an accomplished paraplanner but is looking to step into a new position to add to this skillset further and take on a bigger challenge in their career.

The Required Skills:

  • Level 4 Diploma Qualified as a minimum
  • Experience of working with an IFA or Wealth Management firm and experience of writing tailored suitability reports for various clients.
  • A desire and interest to continue developing your skillset.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence and ability to deal with clients in a professional, personable manner.
  • Good understanding of the FCA and how a Financial services firm operates
