Our client is searching for an experienced Payroll Director to manage all aspects of their clients' payroll, ensuring timely production of all payrolls. You will be responsible for establishing an internal team and taking the lead on designing and implementing processes, technology, and structure for the payroll department.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process various frequency payrolls for clients with 1-200 employees
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, serving as the primary point of contact
  • Lead coordination efforts between payroll and client contacts/departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data
  • Review changes for proper authorization and adhere to HMRC compliance
  • Communicate effectively with clients; raise queries, enhance efficiency, and build rapport
  • Ensure clients produce payrolls on time and meet all deadlines
  • Comply with all legislative requirements while maintaining up-to-date payroll knowledge

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a strong ability to use and understand the flow of transactions in standalone payroll systems
  • Be experienced in a similar practice environment
  • Have 5+ years' experience at a managerial level within Payroll
  • Be comfortable working 5 days a week at our client's central London office
