Head of People & Culture HR
We are on the lookout for an experienced HR Professional who is passionate about delivering professional services, ensuring that the People function remains up to date and compliant.
Working as part of the Senior Management team you will drive the business forward as the business grows, bringing exceptional relationship skills along with the ability to impact and influence others.
Your commercial experience in a modern business environment along with your leadership capability will drive the success in this role to be able to make a difference.
Key Responsibilities
- As a senior colleague you will work with the Directors across the 3 offices to deliver successful people and business outcomes.
- Being the first point of contact to provide and assist in consultation advice and coaching to the Senior team across a broad range of People matters, including disciplinary, grievances, performance management, absence management, probation reviews
- Drive continuous improvement and a strong commercial business understanding in identifying and implementing process improvements
- Acting as the Quality Manager to ensure that the quality management processes are maintained and managed
- Maintain all People policies and processes to ensure they remain relevant and compliant
- Assist the payroll function with delivery, checking and cover during absence
- Assisting in sourcing, tracking learning and development across the company and to include the management of Apprenticeship schemes
- Liaising closely with the Managing Director on all business matters and agreeing communications as and when appropriate
- Ensuring Equality & Diversity is a key focus for the business by ensuring it is the foundation throughout all business processes and areas
- Line management of the Company’s Admin team of 5 (including an HR Assistant)
Role Requirements
- A strong background of being a People Professional
- CIPD qualification would be desirable
- Payroll experience would be advantageous
