The role would be responsible for leading a team of Property Managers and delivering building management and responsive maintenance services across their London portfolio.

Have lead responsibility for managing responsive repairs, estates work, oversight of planned and cyclical and building safety works and servicing to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations, though both in-house and external services.

Client Details

Our client is a RP and charity with a 100k+ portfolio consisting of homes which are mostly supported housing with some general needs.

Description

Property Management

  • Coordinate and plan essential services, including maintenance, security, and waste management.
  • Implement and supervise project management frameworks, ensuring service level achievement and continuous improvement.
  • Effectively manage budgets, ensuring value for money for required goods and services.

Building Safety

  • Ensure coordinated building safety management, including fire, electrical, and asbestos compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Health & Safety to implement fire safety and evacuation procedures.
  • Develop and maintain building safety case reports for certification purposes.

Staff Management

  • Lead recruitment, induction, and performance management for the Property Management team.
  • Conduct regular supervision, team meetings, and work reviews to ensure effective communication and development.

Finance and Budgetary Management

  • Work with the Centre Manager and Finance team to set and manage annual budgets.
  • Oversee financial records and reporting, ensuring operations within budgetary constraints.
  • Identify alternative funding sources for new projects, collaborating with the Fundraising department.

Profile

The successful candidate will have a extensive responsive repairs experience alongside capital works.

Thorough understanding of management and delivery of property services including building safety in a social / affordable supported housing environment.

Proven experience in a senior property management role & managing property services to a residential portfolio within the social / affordable / supported housing sector.

Job Offer

In return, our client can offer a base between £60k-£70k plus an array of attractive benefits and hybrid working.

Please note this is a 6 months FTC role so candidates would ideally be immediately available or available at maximum 1 months' notice.
