About the Role

This is a senior role offering a fantastic opportunity to shape and drive the department’s growth while overseeing a diverse caseload of residential property matters.
Key Responsibilities
As the Head of Residential Conveyancing, your duties will include:
- Leading and managing the residential conveyancing department, ensuring exceptional service delivery and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Handling a varied caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members, supporting their professional development.
- Developing and implementing strategies to grow the department and enhance client satisfaction.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders.
- Representing the firm in business development and networking initiatives.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a qualified solicitor, licensed conveyancer, or legal executive with substantial experience in residential conveyancing.
- Have proven leadership and team management skills, with a track record of driving results.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, client care, and interpersonal abilities.
- Be commercially minded, with a proactive approach to business development.
- Possess strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
