What you will do

As the Head of Sales for HVAC&R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration), your role would involve overseeing and leading all sales activities.

How you will do it

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve business objectives and revenue targets for the HVAC and Refrigeration sectors.
  • Lead and manage a sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and productivity.
  • Sales fundamentals, salesforce tool usage, ROA model, sales productivity
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential customers in the HVAC and Refrigeration markets and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create effective sales materials, promotional campaigns, and product launches.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to stay ahead of the competition and make informed business decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty to maximize repeat business.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals, contracts, and agreements with clients, ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated with industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements in the HVAC and Refrigeration sectors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

What we look for

  • Proven experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the HVAC and Refrigeration industries or similar B2B sales environment, ideally selling both large complex projects, capital equipment and service.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration technologies, and related products/services.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a sales team and build relationships with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies, drive revenue growth, and achieve targets.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and customer insights to make strategic decisions.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and delivering exceptional sales performance.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools to track and optimize sales activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field. A relevant master's degree can be advantageous.
