Panoramic Associates have partnered up with a Local Authority to assist them with the recruitment of an Interim Head of Strategic Commissioning position. This is a full-time interim position, a very good opportunity for an experienced Commissioning Officer to leave a lasting impact within the local authority or a Senior Commissioning Officer to step up as the Head of Service.

Responsibilities and Key Duties:

• Experience in Commissioning Integrated Care.
• Managing a team of Commissioning professionals.
• Providing strategic advice.
• Experience in controlling and balancing the costs of the Commissioning Service.
• Good experience with external fostering agencies, children in care, and children's placements

An Ideal candidate for this position will consist of the following traits:

• Senior Commissioning Officer.
• Excellent managerial skills.
• Thorough understanding of Commissioning lifecycle and Children's services.
• Good understanding of children's placements.
• Experience in working with external fostering agencies
