Our client is looking for Health & Safety Co-ordinator
As H&S Coordinator you will support the H&S manager in delivering a comprehensive H&S service across the organisation including implementing ATC H&S policies, processes and procedures.
You will liaise with local H&S reps to identify issues and collate reports to provide monthly data to the H&S Manager.

Description
- Support the H&S Manager in the implementation of consistent and effective H&S policies, processes and procedures across the ATC.
- Organise and/or deliver training under the H&S remit including but not limited to: Fire Safety, Fire Wardens, First Aid, Manual Handling.
- Liaising with external suppliers and facility management companies to resolve issues with buildings and accommodation.
- Coordinate Health, Safety & Security requirements across the organisation where necessary locating and engaging local suppliers, requirements including but not limited to: PAT testing, Environmental assessments, Fire risk assessments and lone working assessments.
- Liaise with local H&S reps in ATC sites to coordinate training, assessment and reporting requirements and responses.
- Maintain the company accident record book.
- Manage PPE requirements including helping assess need and identify suppliers.
- IT coordination - including liaison with our external IT providers to ensure IT security, equipment and systems are maintained.
- Manage and update, the Operations SharePoint site and assist other departments as necessary.
- Work to ensure all necessary operations databases and records are kept up to date including, asset register compliance records etc.
- Liaise with finance to ensure all billing, for operational matters, is invoiced in a timely manner.
Profile
- RoSPA or NEBOSH qualifications would be beneficial
- Experience in supporting H&S activities ideally in a science based or Agri-based industry.
- Strong H&S knowledge
- Strong organisation and planning skills
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage detailed deliverables, meeting targets and business plans
- Excellent Microsoft office skills
- Ability to deliver under own initiative and when teamed with others.
- Highly collaborative and inclusive approach with ability to manage conflicting agendas.
- Experience of managing and collating reports.
