Job Title: Health and Social Care Assessor

(Opportunities available for Level 3 or Level 5 Health and Social Care Apprenticeship delivery)

Location: Home based - Must be flexible with travel when required

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 (Salary dependent on level of delivery)

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria:

Hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care
Successful candidates must have experience of delivering Apprenticeships - ideally current experience (possibility to consider candidates who may have had a short break from Assessing Apprenticeships).
Happy to conduct online remote assessments - and face to face when required
Hold occupational competency in Health and Social Care (Elderly), ideally to Management level.
Must have a good level of ICT skills
Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel

Duties include:

Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at either Level 3 or Level 5 (Depending on level of competency).
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.

Personal Skills:

Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
