Esteemed colleges and sixth forms in Nottingham are seeking Health & Social Care Lecturers who is passionate about the subject and can inspire learners for the next academic year. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences, as well as carrying out course lead and tutorial duties.

The roles are temporary ongoing during term times and hours can be part-time and full-time depending on availability at the colleges.

Job Title: Health and Social Care Lecturer

Position: Part-Time/ Full-Time

Role type: Temporary ongoing

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £28 - £35p/h including holiday pay

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver engaging and informative lectures in Health and Social Care to a diverse group of learners.
  • Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that meet the curriculum requirements and the needs of all students.
  • Assess, monitor, support and record student progress.
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to students through a structured tutorial system.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of a range of educational programmes.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and college-wide initiatives.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with industry practices and educational methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A recognised Teaching Qualification.
  • Relevant Health and Social Care/Health Science qualification at a minimum of Level 3.
  • Maths and English at a minimum of Level 2.
  • Relevant industrial experience.
