Role:Health Economist

Salary: £65,000 – £80,000 (flexibility at the top end for the right candidate) + bonus + car allowance

Cpl Life Sciences are partnered with a top 10 Pharmaceutical company search for a Health Economist. As a Health Economist you’re key responsibilities will be:

  • Construct and deliver HTA submissions aligned with brand and organisational strategy
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure robust and best-in-class submissions
  • Develop sound access strategies, involving appropriate cross-functional partners
  • Utilise skills to work flexibly within empowered, self-managed teams
  • Coach colleagues on HEOR in the NHS, leveraging detailed understanding

Requirements of the role:

  • Degree in economics, statistics, life sciences or related field
  • Post-graduate qualification in health economics or related field
  • Have experience of delivering a complete HTA submission / multiple components of submission (SLRs, economic models etc)
  • Detailed understanding of the role of HEOR within the NHS and pharmaceutical industry, including a deep understanding of the methods, processes and timelines of UK HTA
  • Excellent knowledge, understanding and application of economic evaluation concepts in HTA submissions
  • High quality demonstrable technical writing and communication skills
