Health & Safety and Compliance Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Compliance Manager to work for our client who are based in Waterbeach. Our client is looking for a full-time (36.25hrs per week - Monday to Friday; 09:00 - 17:15) Health & Safety and Compliance Manager to join the team as soon as possible.

Typical duties include:

• Monitor and implement H&S and Environmental policies via site visits, training, and reporting.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, maintaining high compliance levels across the business.
• Maintain and update the compliance management system with accurate data entry and administration.
• Oversee GHG (Greenhouse gas) Protocol and Science Based Targets (SBTi), managing carbon data for Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
• Coordinate with external compliance providers and internal stakeholders to support company-wide compliance and sustainability goals.

The successful candidate:

• Graduate with relevant qualifications, NEBOSH certified, and experienced in H&S and compliance roles.
• Highly organized, adaptable, excellent communication skills, IT literate, and professional with the ability to handle sensitive information.
• Set clear expectations, provide training, foster an open atmosphere, manage performance, and stay updated with policies.
• Support strategic priorities, keep teams informed, promote respect and confidentiality, and encourage teamwork.
• Take ownership of departmental results, support innovation, plan improvements, balance customer and business needs, and adapt to changes.
• Promote excellent customer service, resolve obstacles, and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction.
