PV Generation, a leading solar PV installer in Ireland, is seeking a Health & Safety Assistant/Co-ordinator to join our expanding safety team.

This role involves supporting the Health & Safety Manager in developing and maintaining our health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the H&S Manager with administrative tasks.
• Develop, implement, and improve HSEQ policies and procedures.
• Maintain safety systems, files, and registers.
• Ensure all policies and procedures comply with relevant statutes and standards.
• Create, update, and review forms related to quality, environmental management, and safety.
• Assist in creating and maintaining safe operating procedures.
• Develop and review Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Safety Plans.
• Create and deliver toolbox talks and safety instructions.
• Promote our “Safety First & Foremost” culture.
• Assist in accident and incident investigations.
• Assist with ISO 9001 Certification document control and related activities.
• Prepare and present health and safety inductions and training.
• Manage the H&S Training Matrix and organise training sessions.
• Procure PPE and maintain stock levels.
• Provide administrative support to the Senior Management Team as required.
• Cover reception duties occasionally.

The Person

• Experience in HSEQ is desirable but not essential.
• Commitment to continuous training.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Creative with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and use own initiative.
• Effective under pressure and able to meet deadlines.
