Location: Ashford, Staines
Hours: Hybrid with travel to MK & Manchester as & when required
Salary: up to £37,500 DOE
A fantastic opportunity has now arisen for an Operation Coordinator to join our client’s successful team in Ashford, Staines.

About the role:
Working closely with the HSEQ manager to ensure exemplary levels of health & safety, and compliance across all UK operation, helping to drive continuous improvement in all areas. You will support in maintaining & developing the integrated management system, Occupational Safety, Health, Environment, Sustainability, Quality & Security.

Roles & responsibilities:
- Supporting the HSEQ Manager in identifying hazards and managing risks.
- Educate employees on required safety standards within the workplace.
- Be an initial point of contact for all HSEQ matters.
- Driving process adherence and good practice for all HSEQ related topics.
- Support with completion of incident investigation, near miss reports and corrective actions.
- Undertake routine site inspections and internal audits.
- Participate in external audits to maintain standards and accreditations.
- Present HSEQ updates to all departments through face-to-face meetings, online meetings, and emails communications.
Skills & experience:
- Hold a recognised Health & Safety qualification, NEBOSH General Certificate, or level 3 equivalent.
- Full clean driver's license with the ability to travel periodically around the UK.
- Previous experience in a H&S coordinator or admin role essential, ideally in transport/logistics.
- Experience in an ISO certified management systems.
- High level of competency in Microsoft office Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience of conducting internal audits and inspections & participating in external audits..
- Full clean driver's license with the ability to travel periodically around the UK.
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously with meticulous attention to detail.
- A sound understanding of the transport and logistics industry.
- An understanding of Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations is desirable.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 9001 (Quality) is desirable.
