What you will be doing as the Health & Safety Coordinator:

  • Working collaboratively with all management and staff within the business to improve Health and Safety onsite.
  • Implement new initiatives and ideas
  • Carrying out all required training with staff.
  • Responsible for 3 site locations.
  • Working with managers on any areas of non-compliance.
  • Updating and maintaining the H&S system.
  • Translating technical language in a way that staff can understand.
  • Reporting.
  • Conducting audits.
  • Investigating accidents.

Person Specification

  • You will have a minimum of 2 years H&S experience.
  • You MUST have a NEBOSH qualification.
  • You will be personable, confident and have the ability to speak to and deal with people from all walks of life.
  • You will be happy to offer ideas and initiatives to improve the H&S function.

You must be happy to travel occasionally.
