Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor

  • Location: Berkshire, Surrey & Hampshire
  • Salary: £32000 to £45000 dependent on experience

We are seeking a dedicated Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Advisor to join our Clients established Health & Safety team. This field-based role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are either working towards a career in Health and Safety or are experienced HSE Advisors seeking a new challenge. Day to Day of the role:
  • Conduct site inspections at live worksites.
  • Monitor site compliance with company procedures, risk assessments, and legal requirements, producing reports of your findings.
  • Build relationships with individuals at all levels within the business to gain increased levels of cooperation.
  • Influence behaviours within the business to ensure a strong commitment to health and safety management.
  • Provide health, safety, and environmental advice, guidance, and training to operational staff and site management teams.
  • Undertake incident investigations and annual auditing of local offices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable experience in a health and safety role or a clear path towards a career in Health and Safety.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and problem-solving.
  • A commitment to prioritising the Health and Safety of others.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Inquisitive nature, comfortable with asking questions and challenging unsafe behaviours respectfully.
  • Good problem-solving skills and willingness to undertake further relevant qualifications.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of IT systems.
  • A full, clean UK driver’s license.
