Randstad C&P are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Manager to work with one of the largest tier 1's in the UK market. You will be working on the HS2, allowing you to be involved in the largest project currently ongoing in the UK.

Our client has specified that the successful candidate will need to come from heavy civils background having worked with tier 1 contractors previously.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Health & Safety Team in the management of H&S for Project activities, including the implementation of the H&S Management System (HSMS) to ensure compliance with OHSAS 18001:2007 certification and with Works Information.
  • The position plays the key role in helping to establish and maintain the highest and where possible, new industry Health and Safety standards for the project.

Essential:

  • Extensive experience in Health & Safety within the heavy civils market
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate
  • Membership of IOSH
