Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to work for a lovely company based in the Yate, North Bristol area. The Health & Safety Manager role is to start ASAP initially working on a temp or fixed term contract basis for 3-6 months, with a view to being extended or potentially go permanent. This is the ideal job opportunity for someone with proven H&S experience.

Duration: 3-6 months, temp or fixed term

Day rate: £175-200 per day + holiday pay

Location: Onsite, Monday to Friday - Yate, North Bristol. Parking onsite

Health & Safety duties:

  • Carry out and review Safety & risk assessments
  • Compliance mapping
  • Risk management
  • Procedure validation
  • Reviewing H&S procedures and looking at continuous improvement
  • Consult & advise on H&S matters
  • Incident management
  • Support and mentoring staff with Health and Safety training and guidance

Skills and experience required:

  • Proven experience working in a similar Health & Safety type role
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent such as IOSH
  • Excellent communication skills
