Hourly Rate: £11.44

Hours: 36 hours per week

Shift: Day Position (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our clients' team in Pontefract. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
• Monitoring and recording vital signs
• Providing mobility support and assisting with physical therapy exercises
• Ensuring patients' comfort and safety
• Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment
• Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Following care plans and reporting any changes in patients' conditions to the nursing staff

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential
• A caring and compassionate nature
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of healthcare practices and standards
• Flexibility to work the required hours
