Description/Overall purpose of the Job

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the Part 145 activities and line maintenance at customer sites. 

Main responsibilities

  • Operational delivery of maintenance services
  • Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery & People at maintenance bases.
  • Liaising with airworthiness personnel, third party airworthiness organisations
  • Management of the maintenance supervisors to ensure the hangar floor are maintained.
  • Ensuring that standards are maintained and implementing corrective actions
  • Liaison with Customer Support Managers and customers directly where necessary to ensure that maintenance activities are to standard
  • Provide guidance to the cost estimation of maintenance work.
  • Work with the Maintenance Manager to ensure compliance

Knowledge and Skills

Essential

  • Experience in a Part 145 aircraft maintenance environment.
  • knowledge of the regulation (Part 145 & CAM)
  • Experienced rotary aircraft engineer with background in commercial aviation.

Education, Qualifications or Training

Essential

  • Part 66 B1 or B2 Licence with C certifying privileges. 
  • Use of Envision, SAP, resource planning and other such applications.
