HGV 1 Container Driver

£15.50 to £20.50 per hour

We are working with a leading logistics company who have a site in Cardiff and are looking for HGV 1 Drivers for their night runs.. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient transportation of goods across various locations.

Responsibilities:
  • Safety and efficient transport containers to designated destinations.
  • Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Conduct pre and post trip inspections of the vehicles and containers
  • Secure and load/unload containers safely.
  • Maintain accurate records of delivers.
  • Communication effectively with dispatches and other team members

Requirements:
  • Valid HGV 1 Licence with CPC and Tachograph
  • Must have held CE Licence for a minimum of 2 year with no more than 6 penalty point.
  • 180 days HGV1 (CE) drivers experience in the last 24 months.
  • Unfortunately, we are unable to accept any DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.

Shifts
  • Days/Nights/Weekends
