Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and safely operate an HGV 2 vehicle equipped with a HIAB crane in accordance with legal and company regulations.
- Responsible for the loading and unloading of goods using the HIAB crane, keeping in mind the relevant health and safety guidelines.
- Delivery of goods to designated locations within the Derby region or as instructed by the client.
- Accurate completion of all necessary paperwork, such as delivery notes and timesheets.
- Collaborate effectively with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries and maintain a high level of customer service.
- Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle, reporting any defects or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Uphold a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- Hold a valid HGV 2 license, inclusive of an up-to-date HIAB certification.
- Proven experience operating a HIAB crane safely and proficiently, preferably within a similar role.
- A thorough understanding of highway codes and regulations, ensuring full compliance at all times.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A strong awareness of health and safety practices, demonstrating a proactive approach towards minimizing risks.
- Punctuality and reliability, crucial in meeting delivery deadlines.
- A sound understanding of vehicle maintenance and ability to carry out basic inspections.
