HGV Class 1 Driver

Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for ongoing work in Coleshill? Look no further, as Workchain has the perfect opportunity for you!

This client is looking for multiple Class 1 drivers who are flexible with what runs they will be doing. One week it maybe shunting trailers between yards, other long distance runs general haulage some container work maybe needed so some port cards are preferred but not essential. Occasional need to tramp out but it will be at most 1 or 2 nights out a week.

Work is usually Monday to Friday with early starts between 0500 - 0700

This is a great opportunity to max your hours with a client who has genuine ongoing work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a Class 1 vehicle
- Transport goods from point A to point B in a timely manner
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups

Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 1 license
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience
- Good knowledge of Birmingham and surrounding areas
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay Rate: £14-£16 per hour
